Gareth Williams
Any ideas where Gareth plays his football these days?
Tried to google him, but nothing came up. I would be intrigued to see his goal record after leaving Palace! Odd situation, scored prolificly for the reserves but was never really given an extended run in the Palace team. Cheers |

I remember this guy from just before Dowie and the promotion campaign, good things were said for ages but never really got a game and disappeared well off the radar.

I seem to recall a number of fans getting out of their pram because he was sent on loan to Colchester, or was it Peterboro. Either way he has done feck all since.

Colchester I think. Seem to remember he had a decent games to goals ratio for them as well. |

As others said, playing for Bromley these days. Looks lazy and disinterested most of the time, but displyas the occassional touch of class that suggests he could have been so much more in the game if he could only have been bothered to be.

i only ever saw him play about 5 minites for us. He came on as sub in a league game in which we were winning, received the ball about 30 yeards out, controlled it, ran a few yards and hit a shot that went just over the bar. I think this might have been just before he went on loan to Colchester.

Believe he does a bit of coaching at local schools, or at least he did a few years back.

I think he was getting his plumbers license a year or two back when he disappeared from Bromley for about a year.
He can't be too upset about being a bench player for Bromley or I'm sure he would have been off by now.

So, any news on this fella? Was thinking about him last night for some strange reason, I watched him play for the reserves and he was superb..think it was Mr Kembersh who wouldn't give him a run in the 1st team, which probably fecked his confidence and attitude up.

Met him and his mum at Torquay before a game.
She was a MILF. ![]()

Despite what people thought of him he was actually a very good striker and I was genuinely surprised he never got a fair chance in the first team. Maybe his weight was a problem but he was a goal scorer. Certainly no worse than Wayne Andrews who we ended up swapping him for.
He scored a hat trick against Whyteleafe in a first team pre season game before the 2003/04 season.
