2012/13 Palace 6s and 12s
Going from last year the price structure will probably be similar in that there is not a huge saving but the membership that is a fringe benefit gets you a couple of quid off extra games/tickets and you will be ahead if (when) we have a big cup game. Also get cat A games as part of your number. It is really good for the club to get a bit of money up front and for those of us who can't get to midweek games in particular and for whom a season ticket does not always make sense.

Whether they will happen is not being answered by Steve B on the CPFC2010 thread at the moment and won't be until the season literally starts to encourage extra season ticket sales. Can't blame them for that but as soon as someone hears something put it here!

Booked my first couple of matches today and asked about 6s and 12s, not available yet but they are working on the prices, just be patient.

Ok I started this thread before someone else hijacked it. Club have announced 6 and 12 packages on the official site. What I don't understand is they talk about terrific savings but when they give the price per game a Palace 6 in the upper Holmes ale works out at £26 per game when I bought tickets by phone for the first two games for £25 per game. WTF can the club do the maths?

they've missed a trick there. those prices are much too high. I think the last selhurst 12 i bought was 149. its effectively doubled in price.

Just checked and you can buy an upper H seat tomorrow for £25 but pay a pound extra for a Palace 6. You really would have to be f**king stupid to do that. Last year the prices saved very little but I was happy to pay in advance. I am not buying your magic beans this time. Can someone who knows any of our owners please point this one out to them?

I know them all ;-)

If you are talking Holmesdale Upper it's 25 for Cat B and 30 for Cat A so the saving is really if you go to mainly Cat A games.

If you go mainly to Cat B games It might be better to become a member and get a £2 discount per ticket.

I havent been involved in the pricing structure but will check that it's right tomorrow.

Steve, cannot even find a list of how many category A games there are and you have the three obvious ones (the club need to be careful not to have too many). Membership of £25 means that you need to attend 10 games to pay for the discount. If these were bottles of wine Steve the pricing would not make sense. Will be buying some more tickets today at the ground, like any true supporter a glutton for punishment.

What kind of stalker thinks people should follow him on twitter, a deluded one who is probably short in all departments like todays ref. And yes I did think Dougie should have been on his way out for some of his negative tactics. We played very positively today for the first time in many months but the size of the crowd showed those tactics were not appreciated by a few thousand who didn't show. Regardless of the bickering this thread has descended into. I think there is a decent point here. The selhurst 6 deal in the sainsburys doesn't work out particularly cheap.

If you did 2 cat a and 4 dat b games the total amount you save in the Sainsburys is £0. I suppose its just the free membership which is the incentive. So the only reason to buy a 6 is to get £2 a time off any other tickets you want. I fear that is simply not enough of an incentive to get people to bother organising a selhurst 6.

I very nearly hit delete without reading, assuming it was an erroneous repeat of Thursday/Friday's.

Pretty sloppy work from whomever is responsable. Did nobody test this?

I wonder how many potential takers might have not seen this for the same reason.

I just called and bought some Selhurst 6's and 12's for this season which are still good value. However three of our group are in full time edcuation and training and for the first time under this scheme are not going to be included as concessions for Selhurst 6's ( in the AW Stand ) as they have been for the past two years. These lads regularly travel back from college from the other end of the country for 6 home games and are keen Palace fans. Now they will have to either pay as adults for £150 or just buy 6 individual matchday tickets which still have student concessions and pay £90. Seems odd as the club will make a saving just £12 a year each by not giving them concessionary status at £78.

Hopefully Steve B will see this and do something. That is not the way to encourage life long committment from a group that goes to matches together.

I had not seen crazy Palacedogs use of a screenshot of my profile, another reason he has been banned no doubt. And I thought Doodlandy was a nutter.
