If CP are struggling to sell enough tickets surely it would be beneficial to allow Sainsburys to expand their operation at Selhurst Park. I am presuming that there is going to be a 'marriage' here of some sort between the football club and the supermarket giant.

We aren't struggling to sell tickets. Ticket sales are up from last year, and CPFC2010 have said they're very happy with ST sales at the moment. They are well above their targets, we're just short of last seasons overall total, but we're 2000 better of than we were at this stage of last year.

I,m sure the authorities will go with your plans. Like I said , go for it and best of luck. Modern stadia with terraces, great idea. Maybe you could incorporate a tea hut into your plans and really get that 1970s feel to the place again. Those were the days........... So I,ve been told.

those days will never be repeated, shame Peterborough are redeveloping.

this is what you need the club to press for, the safe standing used in Germany. lets face it, nobody sits down in the away ends currently anyway. can see no reason why lower holmesdale of SP or any other ground cannot have one stand with this in.

hillsborough was tragic but is this more unsafe than conventional seats?

I will wager a few pounds that they won't bother even looking at the design to be easily put to safe standing. It will never happen in this country, as much as we would love to see it back, or at least a fair few of us, the authorities would never take the risk.

Neither of these things are true. The plans for a new stadium have not been called off, we're just exploring the possibility of re-developing Selhurst.
