Watched them all and enjoyed.
For some reason enjoyed seeing Lena Lovitch again and DLT came across an even bigger plank than I can ever remember. I really felt that was not possible. One question , as either I missed it or they never said, are the couple in the Adverts still together? |

Only watched the headline show thus far
Pretty good stuff with some new intervioews with some additions to teh usual punk entourage in documentaries. Pleased Eddie & the Hot Rods got some coverage, I loved them back then Looking forward to watching the Adverts show, One Chord Wonders was a great tune, and GGE despite being rather overplayed maybe is also an incredible track

I enjoyed the headline show. It explored the links with pub rock and glam which I hadnt seen done that way before. Some good new interviews too. Looking forward to the 76- episode.
I saw the Adverts many times. Interesting what the programme said about the second album- obviously a critical poiunt for the band. I was quite disappointed with "Cast of Thousands". The guitars were too low, keyboards too high and the overall production awful. The cover was not good either. But there are some great songs on it "TVs over", "Back from the Dead" etc. The Peel sessions were so much better. The band then seemed to disintegrate. Got some of the Explorers material and saw them at the Marquee during his top hat and brolly era. I then lost track of him really. But great to see that hes still doing it and getting some credit.

Just watched the Adverts show. Some enlightening stuff there. They all come across very well
The solo song TVS sings right near the end is very reminiscent of Strummer with the Mescaleros to my ear Very good bar having to look and listen to that Br*ghton wanker ATSB ![]()

Punk Britannia was excellent.
A fresh look at what was good in the early to mid 70's. Looking forward to part 2. |

Anyone listened to BBC radio 6 and John Lydons playing music from his record collection. Some shocks and horrors in there!! (Who guessed that Fernando by Abba is a song he loves)
