Not sure if it still the case, but it is also possible to be a mascot at away games which costs nothing apart from getting there. Two of mine were mascots at Colchester when they were still at Layer Road a few years back. The Colchester people were great but I guess it is hit and miss depending on the club.

If anyone wants to know what it's like they can pm me and I'll send them a YouTube link to when my youngest was mascot (in fact did it twice for technical reasons). In summary for a young Palace fan the Gold package would be the best thing ever

CPFC Mascots is playing for a contract
Hi everyone,

Hope you are all well.

Just to follow on what has already been posted, we have have started taking mascot bookings for both home and away games for the 2012/13 season.

For home mascots, the 'Gold Mascot Package' is bigger and better than ever and now includes Junior Eagles membership for all mascots who are not already signed up to be one.

The 'Silver Mascot Package' is brand new for this season and is aimed at those who may already have their new kit and match tickets.

Packages are already selling well for home games and away games are already being snapped up quickly!

If you have any questions or would like to enquire about mascot availability, please let me know by either email on liam.connery@cpfc.co.uk, phone on 020 8768 6004 or on here either in this thread or by PM.

Does the silver package include a little kick about on the pitch as well as getting the teams autographs? Seems a bit steep to pay £100 just to run out holding the hand of a player

Maybe they might have done Gold (full monty, £375);
then a silver package which is everything in gold, but just minues the actual cost of the 3 tickets and kids kit, so approx £215);
then the £100 option being 'bronze' ie you just get to run out????

Link anyway. See the first 5 mins for a flavour. Doesn't do justice to the fact that also you and your group get a hell of a nice meal, the kid goes into the changing room with the players and gets autographs AND you get to see the Crystals close up. Btw the guy in charge is brilliant. Anyone thinking of the Gold package really should go for it

It does include a little kick about on the pitch after the mascots have walked out onto the pitch and taken part in the pre-match handshake with the match officials and opposing team.

This can be seen in eaglejez's video...usually involves one or two of the players as well.
