I get / assume it is a price point thing, but 16GB is really not much storage. 8GB is pointless, you'd fill that up with a few apps.

There is certainly a gap in the market at that pricepoint.

159 is a great price
I have a 32 GB ipad. I fill 16 gb with the operating system and general apps. i leave 16 gb free for mainly video / photos and suchlike which I appreciate you could do online.

So for online I would still be looking at the 16 as a complete minimum.

Still as you say, £159/£199 is potentially very good value.

Perhaps a daft question but I have the all you can eat data deal with 3 for my galaxy nexus. Would I be able to tether from that to this therefore losing the need for 3G? Sorry not to hot on this area

Just to qualify Dave's possibly inaccurate reply.

Three only allow unlimited tethering with the One Plan. All other Three AYCE data plans do NOT allow tethering without an add-on (although some people have reported that they do tether in breach of the T&C and get away with it).

What plan are you on?

might have to shift my HP Touchpad for this....was watching the samsung 7" but the lack of ICS (so far is the stumbling).

nexus 7" looks the real deal.
