In the CPFC2010 thread the board have confirmed Dougie and Steve have had a chat and has left his role at the club by mutual consent.

To be fair, if the BBS is anything to go by all he ever did was get pissed and tell everybody our transfer targets, so maybe it's the correct decision.

Steve Kember is a true Palace fan/legend. I remember going to see Croydon V Whyteleafe on the same day Palace played Cambridge Utd in the FA Cup in 1990. I was listening to a tranny and went berserk when Geoff scored. I will always remember Steve's face looking round at me with a big grin when he realised why I was going nuts. One of my best Palace moments and I didn't even go to the game!
