It is time to spread the love
Things have been getting a bit niggly on here of late. A lot of it I put down to Gus Poyet being a ****, but I also think it's because regardless of the sexual deviance of Brighton fans, pedophiliac tendencies of Southampton fans and so on - that somewhere along the way we've forgotten that no matter how wankish a Brighton or whoever else fan may be, we none of us are Manchester United supporters.

There are many threads in this forum where one can call, say Easy10, a wanker. However, I believe we can spare one where the order of the day is to pay tribute to our regular foes. Think of it like the Xmas day football match between the Allied and German troops, except instead of tentatively emerging from the trenches, the Brighton fans are finally zipping up their winkles having been persuaded to give up the gloryholes for at least a moment or two.

I shall begin by paying homage to two of my current favourites - Furk and WHP. Whilst sometimes disappointing me with a slight tendency to troll (something I would never stoop to), these are two thoroughly decent chaps behindthe false veneer of pretending to approve of the madness that surrounds the cult of Gus. I would gladly share a pint or two with these fine chaps anytime, Brighton ***** though they may be.

Next up - The Botty and Helmut. I'm about to run out of Kindle juice until then - take care of yourselves, and each other.

Old Git - you will break down and offer some words of comfort at some point. A bit like an executioner who says 'hey, if it were up to me, I'd give you a medal for murdering Poyet, but a job's a job'.

Anyway, the Botty and Helmut. Gone but not forgotten. The Botty is like an undercover police officer who went 'too deep' (much like a gloryholer who falls foul of a broken, waist high mdf partition. He began to become too much like his enemy, saw them more as his friends than the soulless androids of the evil empire that spawned him. He now lives out his BBS life in the guise of Constance Bummy, thereby protecting the legacy of the Botty and providing himself with a new vessell in which he can peddle the fallacies of the cult of Gus.

Helmut Struntz - sightings of him these days are rarer than a Lewis Dunk show of restraint. A dry, intelligent poster who fights his corner when necessary but at the same time knows when it's time to acknowledge some middle ground. He just about falls short of finally admitting he's the Palace fan that his intelligence suggests.

I'm not aware of anything pertinent seagull08 has even said on here, let alone NSC, OG so I don't have much to say about him.

In fact, I wasn't aware that I had ever been afforded the honour of a mention on NSC. If you have the offending link available, I will gladly review and attempt to defend any allegations of twerpiness. I appreciate Brighton fans might not agree with things ive said about their club, but they've surely never believed that I'm actually wrong, much less a twerp?
