Gutted to see him go but it's the right decision for the future of the club. Some wonderful goals I'll never forget & doubt we will ever see someone capable of scoring goals like he can again.

Thanks Darren for so many great memories and fantastic goals. Most importably for the goal at Hillsborough which was probably the most important in Palace history.

How is this the right decision for the club? we better sign some quality players soon. Clyne, Zaha, Ambrose, Gardner all key players going/gone, I'm worried.

A great servant to the club and we'd be in a darker and gloomier place without him. I hope this thread doesn't get into an arguement about whether it was a good deal or not, there are other threads to discuss that.

Lets just use this thread to remember a player that has given us some great moments.

Maybe someone techy can embed a compilation from youtube.

Thanks Dazza, you were a great player for us when we really needed one. Your contribution was vital during some dark times at the club and we're still a second tier club largely thanks to your matchwinning genius! You have scored some of the most memorable and important goals in the clubs history.

Really sad to see you go like all Palace fans but hope the move to Birmingham works out well for you.
