Chelsea sign Victor Moses
Di Matteo has told SkySports that the two clubs are talking about a deal.
Let's hope this means more money for Dougie's warchest. |

I'd be surprised if he went for more than £10m

There last bid was 5m. I would be surprised if he goes for any more than £7-8m |

anything he goes for over 2.5 is awesome, we get about 10% (if not more) so if he goes for 5= 250,000 and so on, i would hope any future add on for Wigan would benefit us to (as % of sell seems to work)

Won't break mine - he was great for us, has improved at Wigan and now will be playing for the European Champions and multiple Premiership winners - yes its Chelsea but they will be a top team for many years to come and if Vic keeps improving he could be the world star we all thought he would be.
Plus - a fee of around £8m will net us over half a million to invest.

Will be a superb move for him.
Great news for us as well, as Chelsea will pay the monies. |

would be delighted for him. great news that our academy can help produce such talent and only bodes well for us. if the owners can point to his success as us doing the right thing by player on and off the pitch its great all round
our club helped victor in so many more ways than just football. other parents cant help but be impressed of how we look after youngsters

I know we love to hype up youngsters from our academy, but I honestly think that VM is good enough to shine at the very top level. I think he'll have a starting shirt nailed within a few appearances. |

Will be about 6m-7m. Good move for him actually - Kalou and Moulouda were shite last year so can see him getting plenty of game time.

Would depend on whether Wigan have a sell on clause - if they do, they there would be a trickle down to us. Palace -> Wigan for 2.5m plus 10% profit add on Wigan to Chelsea for 8m = 550k for us Chelsea to Barca for 20m with Wigan having a 10% sell on: 1.2m for Wigan, 120k for us

Are you sure it works like that? I would imagine we won't get anything from any future deals. And why would Wigan only get 1.2m from a 10% sell on of 20m?

It would be a terrible move for Moses. They've just bought Marin and Hazard who play in similar positions to Moses, so he might not even make the bench on a regular basis. If they get Hulk as well from Porto he'll be picking splinters out of his arse for the next few years.
I imagine he's been offered huge wages so I can see the financial benefits of moving to Chelsea, but the likes of Josh McEachran cannot get near the first team so they don't give their younger players a fair chance. I will hate to see him playing for such a scummy club, but I would feel the same if he joined Arsenal or Man Utd. |
