Used a company called Fix It Domestics a few years ago to replace a seized drum. They did a good job.

Most people would just replace with new, such is our disposible outlook. I can vouch for the company, but others may not have had that good a service. Have you tried 'trust a trader'?

If there is an error code coming up on the little screen....google the model/make/code and get a little DIY film....saved a small fortune doing that. It is mostly a sock, some spare change and a hairpin in the pump....an easy job to rectify.

I'm a plumber - a very good one actually but I don't carry out repairs. I have used a guy though on many occassions, he is quite reasonable and his work is very good. I have recommended him to many of my customers in the past and have always had good comments back about him. I will PM his details to you
