Stick him up front with Wilbrahamovic/Murray and he could be just as good as everyone else speculating Baldock/McCormack could've been.

I thought he was one of, if not, the best player(s) to roll up at Selhurst last season - I remember him coming off injured and it totally turning the game in our favour.

Whenever I have seen him play I have been impressed, he would add genuine pace but a footballing brain to go with it from what I can see.

I think he is destined for the prem, but fingers crossed!

Not seen enough of him to judge but looking at his goalscoring record and where he has played i wonder if he will be another player who won't score regularly at this or ahigher level?

Both Liverpool and Everton let him go. Started at Vauxhall Motors and was then set for Chester permenantly before some indiscretions. He didn't find the net all that often though and only when he was in Belgiums 5th division and i hate to think of the equivilent here did he score regularly. Went to Andelecht but never played and then to Peterborough where his goalscoring record is nothing special. 12 in a side set up to attack and only 4 assists. In a side like Palace where far more effort is spent defending would he fare as well?

If the Doog rates KDS and is willing to play him and Williams together then I can see why we wouldn't go for Boyd, as it would hinder his progress.

Taylor would be a great signing though, let's hope it's true!

Yeah I remember that game. He was easily their best player, creative and smart.

Would be an absolute quality addittion.

He wants to leave and won't extend his contract with Posh. he has a year left.

However P'boro always seem to get top dollar for their forwards.

If we have bid, again I think there will be intense negotiation up until the wire. Boro definitely don't want to lose him for nothing at the end of the season.

Also, just on pure football ability - the guy has had 1 good season and is 25 years old. I certainly wouldn't say he is a must buy. I remember it being mentioned that Peterborough took a gamble when they took him on and look at how he has repaid them - one season and he's off.
