Four points off automatic promotion
I don't want to get carried away as of course the bubble could burst but after our worst run of the season so far we are just a couple of decent results from automatic promotion and could even catch Blackpool as I can't see them keeping up their winning run.

Not only this but we have got ourselves in this position with a couple of first team regulars missing. We have won every cup game we have played and have scored in every game so far this season. Hopefully I haven't jinxed things but a League & Cup double is looking a distinct possibility. Happy days.

We are also scoring an average of 1.5 goals a league game, which must be promotion form?

As long as Dougie Freedman is manager of Crystal Palace Football Club i will give him 100% backing, I think more than ever we need to rally round and support the team and management to get it right, Not that long ago i was stood outside Lloyds bank in the rain saving my club, i thought then it will take years to get our club back on track, not a couple of seasons.

Well its what happens when you sit behind a keyboard playing Championship Manager 2012. (At least it means while they are focused on that they aren't being 'ruffy tuffys' and abusing players and their families of course via twatface).

Our average home league attendance is several thousand up on last year's figure - a definite sign of the progress being made on and off the pitch.

Don't put yourself down although I totally agree you have used zero logic in your post. I cannot answer where we will be after another 2, 22 or 44 games I can only deal with the facts as they are, which as things stand it currently looks like we will need to do the double over Blackpool to go up as Champions.

Football is a game of opinions and just because other peoples opinions don't match yours doesn't mean they don't "get" what the club is about.

Same about the people who trot out the line "if you want instant success go and support Man City" etc. People are just frustrated after 2 bad results this season, a continuation of the bad tactics from the previous season, lots of players leaving and suitable replacements not being sourced yet.
