It absolutely gets on my wick that the BBC News Sports presenters continue this guff about 'MOTD follows the news and if you don't want to know the scores look away now'.

Is there a single person on the planet who doesn't know the scores by 22.30 on a Saturday night!

It like Morecombe and Wise or Marc Bolan; so 70s it's ridculous. How long will they continue with this nonsense.

It's so annoying.

I don't know the scores. I avoid them when I can so MOTD actuallly worth watching.

I managed to avoid the results on the final day of last season

Aguero's goal was really appreciated

You're not alone. I have a friend who avoids the scores on Saturday so that he can enjoy seeing Fulham on MOTD. He usually guesses the score though when they show Fulham last.

Blimey. It amazes me that anyone can manage to avoid the scores until that time on a Saturday.

Are there many more who do this bizarre Likely Lads avoidance ritual of a Saturday?

Do you put your hands in your ears, close your eyes and go la la la when the BBC news is giving the results?

It's a quaintness I didn't think existed any more in this teched up world of tinternet, iPhones and social networking. Hats off to those fighting the modern world.

Used to do it regularly as a kid, before I had Sky or if I knew I was going on a non-footballing day out.

Last time I did this was during Euro 2012 when Blink-182 inconveniently gigged on the same day as Holland vs Denmark and Germany vs Portugal.

Turned my phone off and watched both matches on the iplayer when I got home. Great stuff.

I generally try not to find out what the scores are/avoid them, but inevitably going on twitter/BBS/Facebook you tend to find out at least some of them.

'it would be boring if they won every time right?'

To be, or not to be, that is the question:
Whether 'tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
And by opposing end them? To die, to sleep,
No more; and by a sleep to say we end
