Hopefully we'll get a new CB to go alongside Blake instead of Ramage. If Joniesta's injured then put in Moritz or the AM/second striker that DF anticipates getting in this week.

With the current squad I do fear. For our attacking options we are short 1 player IMO and that's a striker. Whilst we haven't tried Murray so far with the new players we have brought in this past week we can't wait too long for him to come back.

it will be the same, grim, dull line up. 1 up front, 2 DMs, sheff wed will dominate possession and have more shots.

If we can't get a new striker in before Saturday, stick Zaha up front and Bolasie in midfield. We'll have to play the ball on the deck more than usual although that may actually speed up our game and suit us. Wednesday are on a fantastic run and are a good team with a lot of momentum, we'll need to be at our best if we want to end their unbeaten streak.

Our midfield is easily good enough for a top 12 finish this season. The only concern I have is sorting out the defense. We simply cannot keep leaking goals so badly.

I see we had 16 shots last night (7 more than Preston even though they scored 4!) so clearly the issue isn't with creating chances any more - it's with our finishing. If we get a new striker in before the window shuts then I really think we can turn things round. It will be important to get some points on the board, because we have an extremely tough run of games coming up in the next month or so.
