I agree a great result today, it seemed the passion and the fight that was missing since January had come back, the early goal got the fans on side and helped the atmosphere which the team responded to, we all pulled together for that win and if we continue to do that and get behind the boys and Dougie there will be many more happy moments for this season, Come on you EAGLES

The new players offered something different and the flair which we have been missing was back in abundance.

This squad has plenty to offer and I hope that the missing fans are now wishing they had been there.

Dougie and the Boys did us proud and with the returning players and excellent new signings our season is now up and running just as I predicted in my post of yesterday.

The only way is up.

I would say the latter, there are definitely reasons to be optimistic. Moritz & Bolasie seemed to add a bit more dynamism and guile in the final third, whilst Delaney & Blake made us more solid at the back.

We also had real strength on the bench for the first time this season. Goodwille and Williams are great players to be able to bring on. Williams was superb when he came on and will be like a new signing.
