Forest ratings and review
Dougie Freedman was left ruing what could have been a third successive victory for Palace.
"The performance was fantastic," Palace boss Freedman said. "The result was a disappointment, but I thought the performance levels were great. "We've played against a team here tonight that I believe will be in the shake-up at the end of the season. "They've got a lot of new players, a lot of top quality players, spent a lot of money and I think we've given them a right good game tonight. "I thought we passed them off the pitch in the first half. I felt our movement was great and we created opportunities. "In the second half, we got the goal in front and we had one or two chances when they had their man sent off, but when you've got top strikers on the pitch that is what happens. "You've got to be focused for the whole 90 minutes and unfortunately tonight we weren't, but it is coming together." Another negative for Palace tonight was the concussion suffered by goalscorer Dikgacoi in the second half. "Unfortunately, he has a bit of concussion and is on his way to hospital right now," Freedman added. "I am not a doctor so you'll have to give me a couple of days to find out whether he is a doubt for Saturday [against Cardiff]". http://www.sportinglife.com/football...ses-odriscoll?

Fantastic performance. Funny how people can still moan about the tactics and say we were too defensive. The draw felt like a loss but I'd rather draw dominating and deserving to win than snatch a point. The only strange thing was when Parr was brought on for KG but it turned out to be a good sub considering Moxey looked to have picked up a slight knock.
MOTM - Jedinak.

Very good performance.
Particularly impressive by Ward, Jedi and Garvan, but the MOTM has to be KG. Very pleased it's working out for him. What happened with the sending-off? |

Best midfield performance I have seen in years! Murray worked his socks off and the defence did not do anything wrong apart from a small switch off for 30 seconds!
Fantastic passing display and it was nice to see so many players get the ball, look up and run forward as opposed to getting rid of the ball ASAP! Made a still unbeaten forest side like very poor and they have some serious talent in the team! Also does anyone know where I can donate to the forest fans sponsored silence?? |

Not funny at all, it took an equalising goal for us to go for a second goal, showboating at 1-0 against 10 men with 20 minutes on the clock is quite ridiculous. Too busy trying to keep a 1 goal lead instead of putting the game out of reach.

A really encouraging performance against a very decent Forest side who nicked a point thanks to one defensive lapse. A game that could quite easily have finished 3-0/4-1 Palace. Certainly thought we'd won it with Ramage's late header.
Jedinak and KG are a beastly duo in midfield. Superb both. Hope KG's injury isn't too serious. Jedi makes a great skipper and is such a presence in midfield. Looked totally innocent in the red card incident - simply wanted to get on with the game. Ward had his best game for the club to date. Excellent. Moxey the weak link in the back line. With today's addition we have really great defensive options. Williams was fantastic. Such a delight to see him play with his head up and drift across the pitch. Subbing him made sense in the sense that Bolasie is a player to stretch a defence on the rack, as Forest were after the goal. Sadly it didn't come off on this occasion, and with hindsight it was a bad move. Zaha was fantastic. Some of his skill is ridiculous. Beats his man nearly every time. I think the end product argument is nonsense, especially as he's still only 19. He's developing rapidly. He did drag one shot wide, but he also won numerous corners and put some wicked balls across the box. Such a pleasure to watch him and Williams play together. Best two players in the division in my view. A delight to be able to bring on a player of Moritz's quality - we have such great options in the squad now. Feel rather sorry for De Silva and O'Keefe as they can't seem to get near the 18. Particularly harsh on the latter, who was excellent at the end of last season. We are going places. People still want DF to go? |

Just because Wilf was showing off a couple of times does not mean that we didn't go for the second goal. We had several chances at 1-0 up and were attacking every time we got the ball. It was the finishing that was the problem. |

Great effort from the players, great desire and team play...but tactically poor from DF...when KG went off it should have been Moritz on and Garvan into midfield...DF has got to learn when to kill teams off...particularly those with 10 FFS...Moritz is much better player than Garvan...and should be in the hole...why has he been dropped after such a class performance against Wednesday?
That said we would probably have won if KG had stayed on - nearly a 10/10 from a reformed player... |

Makes you laugh doesn't it. We were quite clearly going for that 2nd goal ever since it went 1-0 to us! |

Excellent performance by KG, man of the match. Not far behind was Jedinak, inspirational and looking a better passer of the ball. No-one had a bad game, even Ramage looked good at centre back - and got in a great shot near the end. The only downer was the decision to bring on Parr when KG went off injured - changed the shape, lost the midfield (against 10 men it should be remembered) and 6 minutes later conceded a soft goal.
Palace played football it was a pleasure to watch tonight, if only we could take our chances. Not many marks to the Forest fans who were one of the quietest for many a long season. |

No-one played badly, not a clue who ballsed up for the goal.
KG and Jedinak were excellent. I never want to see a short corner again, we could've scored from 3 of them Goodwillie should've come on instead of Moritz as it altered the shape for the 3rd time in 3 subs. I'm not Moxey's biggest fan, but he looked much better at LB than Parr has this season. Delaney is excellent, Ward looked more like the player he was sold as, Zaha is too good for us and this division, Murray was his usual self, but I still think that he and Wilf will only get better as a partnership with time on the pitch. Still not entirely sure how we didn't win it, but we're easily good enough to mount a challenge on the top 6.

Do you REALLY believe this or are you just cut and pasting comments you were making two weeks ago? To say we were just trying to keep a one goal lead is simply untrue. And so far your comments are totally out of line with everyone else's. It was very disappointing to come away with just one point after dominating the game but one defensive howler cost us. But what a huge improvement we've seen over that Bristol performance. No doubt some of the moaners will start creeping out of the woodwork at the first bit of disappointment in a couple of weeks but I think most of us are pretty pleased with how things are going at the moment.

So youre trying to suggest that Wilf overdoing the showboating was on Dougies iunstruction? Ridiculous, we didnt win, because we missed a host of chances, not becuase we didnt try to score more than 1 goal
