Wolves 1 Palace 2 Ratings and Review
Thought once again we made an in form team look very ordinary. But for the Delaney howler they were never going to score. We didn't create too many chances but generally looked a better team all over the pitch. Wilf is simply unplayable at the moment and he added the vital finishing touches tonight - his second an absolute belter.

Very enjoyable all round apart from ticket shambles at the beginning which meant loads of us missed first 15 minutes. Also not great stand if you can't manage stairs and suffer vertigo!

Be interested to hear from anyone there if and how the sub of Bolasie for Moritz changed things? I've been impressed with him the couple of times I've seen him. Seems like a great addition.

Back from the game

Struggled to get in at the start of the game because the tickets were not there, missed about 15 minutes at least.

Wilfred Zaha was the difference between the two teams. His second goal was an absolute stunner, just turned his man and slammed it into the top corner Some of the skill he was doing tonight was unbelievable!!

But for our **** up in defence, which was just so bad and they hit the crossbar too we were ok and the better team I thought.

Garvan played very well, the pass for Zaha's second was amazing

Moritz looked good when he came on, had decent touches and linked play. The sub didn't really change the game that much.

If they hadn't scored their goal I think it would have ended 0-0

Speroni 9 Saved us in the first half from a header

Ward 8 handled their winger well, he looks very mobile and solid

Delaney 7 only because of the complete **** up for their goal, he's still a mountain

Blake 8 Not a foot wrong, he has pace too, they struggled to get in behind us

Moxey 8 solid winger struggled against us

Zaha 10 MOTM Just wow, unplayable, they couldn't get near him, doubled up on him second half and it made things worse for them. Beats players for fun and scored a belter of a goal

Williams 8 linked up well, got hacked down too much and needs more game time. Good passing and vision

Jedinak 7 Strong, won headers, broke up play

Garvan 9 Great range of passing, assist for the second goal was a lovely ball

Bolasie 6 struggled tonight, probably shoots too much from outside the box

Murray 7 Worked hard but was crowded out upfront.

Mortiz 7 looks like a find to me, comfortable on the ball and a good touch

Parr 7 worked hard down the left

Ramage not enough time but sured things up at the back

Fans and Freedman 10

For the first time in 4 or 5 years we look like a footballing team and we are comfortable on the ball. Just need to keep going and see where it takes us

Williams went to the wing where bolasie was playing and the super cool Mortiz took over the driving seat in midfield, just a class act that man.
