Steve Rolfe
Just received the news from his son that Steve Rolfe passed away earlier today.

A Palace fan for many years who was a 'major face' on the terraces throughout the 1970's/80's and still attending the odd game up to last season including Brighton away.

Condolences to Steve Jnr and his family, who were looking to get in touch with an old friend and fellow CPFC fan Dave Latter (sp?).

RIP Rolfey - Sorry for getting us both lost on the way to the pub after the League Cup game in Torquay that time.

Blimey mate that shook me.Such a nice bloke always up for a chat and a beer with anyone about the Palace.I was pretty pissed but seem to remember having a drink with him against Wednesday this season?

Hadn't seen him for years - probably wouldn't have recognised him if I had - but he did me a favour or two back in the 70s. Was one of the characters. RIP Steve.

Would this be the same guy who was caretaker at Fairchildes school in the 80s?
If so helped me out a fair bit back in the day.
