You talk of knowing nothing about football. Does Parish know much about it looking at his track record? The secret is to employ people who do.

People always write this kind of thing on here. But I’m struggling to see what he’s got right since CPFC 2010 disbanded and the US investors came in?

Wilfs form did drop in January and some suggested he was playing carrying an injury - at times it did look like that

Yes he has done well in the past but this season he has had an absolute nightmare and deserves much of this criticism.

Swansea backed their manager in January and signed two players with Premier League experience.

Look at the table now.

The only thing he has done wrong involves player purchase again and again it’s last minute and often surprising AJ for goodness sake we had to get that useless ex spurs lump on £200k a week QS he had not strengthened enough in the August that year. He should appoint somone with lots of experience to do this.

Oh don’t like how he “cleansed” part of the Stephenson’s and put ticket prices up sneakily

We needed players in January that could come into the team and affect things. January is not the time to buy for the future. You do that in the summer. We ended up with three players none of which would make the bench if we had a fully fit squad. Really feel Roy has been ****ed over by Steve and the board.

Not only are his biggest failings his purchase history, but it’s also allowing players leave without adequate replacements.

You only need to look at our bench. Yes we have 10 players injured but even so I would be disappointed with that bench in the championship. And remember they are still squad players. To sell players like Murray and Gayle and replace them with 2 players no Ones heard of and are unlikely to play is criminal. 5 years of premier football and money with nothing to show for it. If we go down he is responsible with to many failings behind the scenes.

He’s had a shocker agreed.

I just wish he would stay out of the papers etc. Writing articles in the national media about football governance and leadership, in the context of his horror show 12 months, looks unhinged IMO.

This. In a nutshell. This season has been shambolic. Starting with the recruitment process of a new manager in the summer. Which dragged on and on. Then he was sacked after four gamesl and then that particular transfer window we failed to address certain ongoing issues (namely, recruiting a decent keeper). We then go through 3 months or so with only one first choice striker; and then just as when RH had got the best out of the team and into a fairly strong position. The board then fail to back him in the January window.

Last night's result feels like the cause and effect of a series of botched management (board) decisions. I'm not surprised that it happened and nor can I be bothered to get angry about it. We're reaping what has been sowed.

There's hope yet that we might (might) still pull ourselves out of this; but the chances are growing slimmer with every bad result.

Totally agree with all of that. The worry is if we did pull ourselves out of the mess and survived where would he go this summer. Lots of talent will appear during the World Cup but I bet we will be weeks behind in doing anything to sign them.

The answer to this is not a lot!!!

So what does that tell you? I’d suggest we have moved from a company with private ownership run like an entrepreneur to a one with the style of a corporation where every decision has to get concencus with the inevitable outcome of NOTHING happening. I told everyone on here the Niasse farce was down to the yanks not wanting to invest in a player with arthritis in his knee where Parish said we had to ( I am not revealing my source but it is spot on)

The only thing that has beeen positive since the breakup of 2010 is the ground development. If it happens: Sadly it aint what it was

Maybe he's sick of the Corruption.

With Mega millions comes corruption, it has to be there. Fifa proved that, I'm fairly confident there would have to be similar stuff happening in the Premier at all kinds of levels right through to Indian Bookmakers.
