Price was only shit compared to Speroni as we had the best keeper in the league at that point. Flinders was terrible too.

Flahavan I’m amazed was even a goal keeper at 5ft 11” didn’t play much for us.

I forgot Flahavan. He was crap for us too. Done well in League 1 and 2 though. I had the misfortune of seeing him play when we lost to Newcastle in 2009/10.

But Cavalieri looked much better than Hennessey in that warm up so should be in goal instead of him

Try letting the coaches pick the team based on what they see in training. Whoever plays just get behind them in the match. You seem to be the only one to think he looked better than Mutch in the warm up. If he is better he will show it in training

LOL - classic. I would hope they don't pick who starts in the warm up

Doesn't always work like that. It's like a player scoring ten out of ten pens in training. When he steps up to take one in the 89th minute in a real match it's a totally different ball game.
When the Celtic Lisbon Lions were around their keeper was Ronnie Simpson. Yet all those players whenever asked about who was the best keeper they had ever seen or played with, all said Jim Fallon. He was the reserve keeper and even though he was Scottish, he was meant to be unbeatable in training and reserve games. Every time though he got a first team game he went completely to pieces.
Watching a warm up is a total waste of trying to judge who is the better. Do you for one minute think that in a warm up a goalie is going to dive for a shot going into the corner, as if his life depended on it. Warm ups are exactly what it says on the label, getting the blood flowing and a feel for the ball. Goal keeping is mostly mental. Hennessy is way better than the abuse he has to put up with on here, but it is obvious watching him that his nerves are shot.
Would love to think that in a few hours we'll be lauding the Hen as the greatest taff to ever wander across the Welsh border. Doubt it though

Will say it again...

We were not conceding this amount of goals with Speroni in the side...

I know he’s injured but he should not have been dropped in the first place.

He's let two goals in today, one deflected and the second which was going wide until Kelly kicked in in off Wayne

No idea how Speroni would have saved either

With that header into the net, he has matched Benteke league tally for the season so far!

We found our new striker gentlemen.

Can't blame WH he probaly would like to be dropped rested ect the way it's been going for him his confidence must be as low as benteke s it's parish fault we havnt got a replacement keeper.think if between Roy and goalkeeping coach they thought they had a better option then WH they would play him defence must have no faith in Wayne .

"According to Getafe, Crystal Palace actually LOWERED their offer for Guaita today. The original offer was €4m and they reduced it to €2m. Getafe said no, and will replace him in the summer (Moy already agreed terms)."

La Liga reporter Andrew Gaffney at three minutes to midnight on transfer deadline day.

Worth revisiting IMO.

Most keepers in this league and the one below save the first. Deflection or not, you expect the keeper to get to that.

He is without doubt one of the worst keepers I’ve ever seen in a Palace shirt ! First goal was deflected BUt he reacted soooo slowly. Add in the countless dropped balls or saves where he pushes the ball back into danger rather than away.
Sorry but he is a poor excuse for a keeper

With all the experts on here with knowledge of team selections and formations, how many of you are actually employed within that field? Because the ones of you that aren't are obviously wasted in your current employment.
