Don't most game manufacturers provide free support for registered games? Or try going to http://www.pczone.co.uk/ and sticking in your card specs. 'Hercules 3D Prophet 4000XT' in the search field showed a couple of responses about drivers so perhaps you need to download upgraded versions. I don't really play games and don't use a PC so can't really help in detail.

Sideshow,
Check to ensure Microsoft Direct x has been installed - even re-installation is a good idea. You can get this off the net or one of your game CD's (Version 8.1). I take it you have the latest drivers for the card? Other things to check include ventilation for the card ie. overheating and also making sure that your Power Supply Unit is sufficient for the extra welly needed to power the card. Is this a PC you built yourself? If so, make sure you have upto date drivers for the AGP slot on your motherboard. One final thing to check is that your monitor is not the cause of the problem. Sometimes the refresh rate needed to run games causes a problem between the card and the montor........ Hope this helps.
