Scott Hogan

West Ham move for Scott Hogan on hold until Payet situation is resolved. Palace and Watford also interested in Brentford striker #whufc

Ed Aarons rumour again.

Don't like the thought of West Ham with cash burning a hole in pocket.

Why can't west ham go for Hogan, what's that got to do with Payet?

Anyway not sure about Hogan, could be a 1 season wonder. Also he's had two ACLs in his career already, so £15M would be a big risk.

I think his agent is planting a lot of this stuff tbh.

Just been working for a Brentford supporter. Reckons they are going to want £15m for him. Said he's got really quick feet, but although has been there for a couple of years, it's his first proper run in the team after two long term back to back injuries.

If all that's correct, the price alone will probably put us out of it unless a few move on.

We could have another Charlie Austin scenario. Hogan appears to be another natural goalscorer having emerged from the lower leagues. He could be a risk having had two anterior cruciate ligament injuries in 2014/15 but currently is on a rich goalscoring streak.

Went to Brighton V Watford and he scored 2, could and maybe should have scored more, lively player and a handful, at that level anyway.

I'd want Ben Hogan for that, he could chip the ball in nicely and had a hell of a shot on him.

We seem to get linked with every single over-priced player that gets touted around the PL clubs in the transfer window.

We should have been in for Lookman when we had the chance. I know he's a different kind of player, but our failure to move on him is symptomatic of our transfer dealings these days.

We can either recognise superior talent that's worth going the extra mile for, or we can't. Other clubs manage it.
Or we can sign Mutch, Kebe and Townsend...

I'm not saying schlupp is shit. Merely pointing out we clearly had the cash.. and he would of been a much needed replacement for bolasie.

Lookman is a real talent.
