2017/18 fixtures

Fixtures released 14/6

Starts 12/8, finishes 13/5

Those with a better memory than me....how long is it before first lot of TV changes are confirmed? A few weeks I think?

Looking at EFL there fixture are released a week after ours (but season starts a week earlier) and there TV changes are announced 13/7

Are there still plans to have six matchdays across about 18 days over Christmas and New Year (owing to ending the season early for the World Cup)?

That would be madness.

The Everton game on the Friday night was good. Got smashed in Covent Garden and ended up in Infernos. Always the sign of a good night!

Unless it took you about 7 hours to get there on a Friday night!

That would be madness.
Allowing for a worst case scenario where a team reaches the later stages of all competitions similar to Man Utd last season the fixtures can just be fitted in if teams play on 23rd December, 26th December, 30th December and 1st January.

This would leave only 4 midweeks throughout the rest of the season where no fixtures including European games and potential cup replays are currently allocated to use as alternative dates.

Fair enough but I love watching all the games over Christmas when off work. Our squad would be no less equipped than most of the rest of the league

Can't see anything online yet regarding fa cup dates, but did read an article saying each club could play an extra 2 games more than normal throughout December to accommodate earlier finish for World Cup
