Embarrassing
I think HDEagle is a disabled bloke. His contributions on the KODI thread are invaluable

Yes, no fixtures cancelled last season. Only had to stop him playing on the 3G once last season. Luckily most teams use grass

Just because you can never be bothered Worksop stop sniping at me from behind your keyboard and do us Palace fans a favour and let us support the team instead of moaning at every little thing.

Why don't you take your constant negativity to the Away Fans End as you will not be missed.

Love the fact that someone with a user name of Rambo1 can refer to a large number of our fans as idiotic despite not meeting most of them

I manage a disability football team and as a rule we only ever play on 3G, and I have never heard of 3G pitches being linked with cancer.

Thanks for the link. That's a nice finish from Mutch for the 2nd.

Good turnout and a nice cash boost for Maidstone.

Sorry, but this is professional sport and whatever the manager sees is the best way to assess the squad and get a team ready and prepared for Huddersfield is all that matters.
I agree. And I don't want to labour the point because in the scheme of things it's a minor transgression. But there's no harm in looking a situation that hasn't been handled expertly, and learning to do things better in the future. There was a time when we'd collectively roll our eyes in situations like this and chalk it up to 'typical Palace,' but we're starting to demand a bit more these days - and that's a good thing.

A good day out, nice little ground and the locals were friendly, easy journey back as well.

The point remains though that this was a bit shabby, its not the same as a west end musicals stars unavoidable absence, this was a calculated and deliberate change in plans, and what I didn't like was they were happy to promote it as a first team friendly when it suited but then when that changed it was covered up with social media links of how we should be excited cause the managers wants to look at the U23's which was a bit rum, the club moved the goalposts and to try and cover it up like that was a bit weak. Why not make an announcement on the site explaining the reasons, with I dunno, some tiny gesture towards ticket holders? 10 off at the club shop or something?

If we play (for example) WBA in the cup 3rd round in January tickets for that will be around 15, so comparing that match with our U23's V Maidstone is no comparison really.
