If he is to be in charge of player recruitment he should bring in what Hodgson says he needs

How many people times does it need to be repeated

‘Part’ of Dougies role is to find players, which he did

It isn’t down to him to get them to sign, that’s down to Parish

All reports say that he has agreed to sign as a free agent. Not sure about the technicalities but it looks good. Just seen him on Sky Sports playing for Getafe. Snowing and he is wearing short sleeves.

Hopefully the new STEVEE, but actually keeps a clean sheet.

This morning the odds of freedman being the manager in august must have shortened

Its great having a fan as chairman but one of parish's main weaknesses is separating out the players he watched from their other abilities after their playing careers

A depressing thought. If that happens, I will seriously think about not renewing my ST.
Because
A) I find it pretty objectionable that this Judas and snitch is back at CPFC, at all.
B) When he was Manager before, apart from that final purple patch, he made us into a mind numbingly boring outfit.

So Guaita, Kouyate, and Meyer (probably).

How are we feeling about this now?

I am concerned that we will get our business done before deadline day, and be denied the anticipation, anxiety, worry and tension the final hours of it produce

Maybe so, however on paper good signings. It's easy to be critical in a years time with the benefit of hindsight if they don't work out, but its hard not to be positive isn't it?

By all accounts Meyer was being pimped out to most of Europe by his agent so Freedman cannot take credit for finding him.

That DF is not head of recruitment and shouldn't ever be judged on players we sign.

I know what you mean but we've signed quite a few players who looked good on paper but turned out to be rubbish, and vice versa to be fair. It's always exciting signing new players regardless but the credit for the signings can only be given once they've proved themselves.

Freedman generally did a great job here, bar a few flops, but then did a poor job at Bolton. The jury is still out on him for me.

So why does Hodgson keep saying that Doug is looking for the right players etc? Never mentions Tim Coe.
