Haven't worked it out but it looks like we have spent a lot of cash net in the end by our standards. Surprised we haven't been able to shift out any players for cash. I expected us to shift out someone. Without any incoming cash it makes for a steep window. Add in wages.

We just need to hope now when the dust settles that everyone can get together and make this work. Hopefully the new players, old players and Manager will get good support for Burnley.

Me too. Though I guess we have wanted to hang onto players who are of sufficient quality to join another Premier league club, and the ones we want to offload are probably on salaries that Championship clubs cannot come anywhere close to matching. So loaning out or paying up the contracts are the only options left.

I don't know a lot of supporters will think when they wake up and hear Niasse has not signed.

To me, I'd rather take a risk on CB staying fit and spend on a proper striker next summer. Hopefully Wickham will be back in Jan. The good news is that we still have Cabaye and Townsend. Now let's start stringing together some performances with our best players. There's no point moaning about lack of new additions when we are not currently using our existing squad properly. Leaving out of the XI our best midfielder? Dropping our England winger for the first home game? That's just madness. And there's no point signing dead wood dross that just sucks the lifeblood out of our club like Jordon Mutch. (That said I wouldn't be against Diabate if feasible.)

Good work all round. We've got a quality new addition. No excuses for FdB. Squad is stronger than last season and we beat the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and spanked Arsenal's bottom with a weaker squad. COYP.

I think we have taken a huge, huge risk.

We waited all summer on the Sakho deal, who I'm sure we are all delighted to welcome back, but at what cost? We have left a gaping whole in our attacking options as well as leaving ourselves with very weak goalkeeping options. And add to that the fact Sakho himself is still receiving treatment for a serious injury.

I think we placed a lot in to the hands of luck to be honest.

We have 1 fit first-team striker for 4 months (minimum, even if we signed someone else on 1st Jan 2018). One Benteke injury could see our Premier League staus done for, just like that, in one challenge or twist. We needed Niasse, absolutely needed him or another forward. It is an inexcusable risk to take, let's all hope, pray, whatever that it doesn't hurt us as much as it could do.

We have signed 4 players and 3 of them are centre backs (admittedly if we revert to a back 4, TFM may operate as a full-back) and have neglected other areas of the squad.

Scary ain't it? Benteke injured or even sent off and that's that. Whatever were they thinking?

F*cking hell; "no excuses for FdB" yet your idol is injured and we have injuries all over the place including the player we've just signed.

FFS, give the man a chance with a fully fit squad.

i hope he gets just that; I was never calling for him to be sacked. Just upset with his line-ups so far, despite the injuries.

A shambles of a window glossed over with a pr stunt of a transfer at the end. Wouldn't surprise me if fdb walked, maybe that was the intention

Terribly balanced squad now. No backup for Benteke. If we are to persist with 3-4-3 why were not in for a RWB?

Because Parish appears more focussed on trying to appease a large vocal section of our fan base who for some reason think that an injured Sakho is worth spending the majority of our budget on.

Terrible window that has sent us well on the way towards relegation.

Yes. Great work. Absolutely fantastic.
One striker at the club. We have even sent out Keshi Anderson on loan.
Goalkeeper situation still not addressed.
Still no rwb
Still no back up for Wilf.

Yes. Well done Palace. Great work.

The club has failed to back de Boer and clearly don't want him to succeed. He'll be gone in days.

To not sign a keeper is one thing - we have only two keepers after all. But to not sign a striker is beyond the pale. It's mind blowing. We must be the only club in premier league history to only have one striker in the squad.

I'm so pissed off but this window has been a total joke from start to finish. We've just taken a massive gamble on our premier league future.
