Palace have always been a team that plays a style with a physical Centre Forward, and if we are to see the best of that type then we need to give them the type of service they need.
Still think he may be sold if we are cut adrift by the next transfer window

I kind of agree he was looking lazy and not up for it and will be hard for Roy but as I have said I still think he may go in January with the money spent on 2 championship strikers but don't ask who lol

Why would you start this thread then abuse a fellow Palace fan who is simply more optimistic than you, and was completely right?

Worst team in Premier League history?

Bit too soon to start celebrating me thinks. A few bad results and we will be right back in the brown stuff again. Although, we should all accept that things can change in a handful of games so, even if we hit another bad run in the next couple of months, we won’t be doomed.

On the bright side it would be a 'normal' 30+ point relegation rather than a Derby/Sunderland historic omnishambles.

@IanH - "Bit too soon to start celebrating me thinks",

We have 17 points and Derby went down on 11 points so point of this thread (that we would go down as the worst Premier League team in history) has already been nullified.

Feel free to celebrate.

I remain convinced that there are a few Palace ‘fans’ who relish failure. It’s harder to attack Steve P when we go on a long unbeaten run.

Of course it’s not over and there may be further worries ahead, but let’s try and maintain some sort of perspective. Never in our history have we enjoyed such a long stay in the top division. Win or lose, we are watching some incredible football with arguably the most talented Palace team ever.

Whatever mistakes the Chairman may have made, he has shown time and time again that he is not afraid to make tough decisions and correct errors.

I love this Club.

Boro had more points, well 1, at this point last year than we have so of course it is not all over, however considering where we have come from after 7 games i think it is fair enough the team are looking up rather than down. Maybe the fans should share that optimism.

They peaked early, but is appears we are peaking later, with the transfer window about to open we can only improve our squad. We are one of the strongest teams in the bottom half, its ours to lose now or suceed, not out of reach or doomed to fail as it looked after 7 games.

Can see why you'd think that, but every time I've said something like the OP in the past, we've turned things around.

You should be thanking me you ungrateful fools.
