Probably using the Kings Ferry route planners. Putney high Street can be hell at that that time of day.

Most town centre pubs will have stewards so obviously anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and fans are also advised to allow at least 1¼ hours getting to the ground. Remember the ground is a 4 mile walk from the town centre!
Does this not sound like that anyone in the away pubs is gonna be walked to the ground under escort 😂😂😂

They like to march the palace from the wetherspoons straight up past the Brighton pubs.
Almost as if they want it to kick off where all the cameras are.
For that reason I would suggest Palace fans avoid Brighton.

Brighton will be absolutely fine so long as you don't try and drink near the station or use Yates or Spoons (which'll either lead to be walked all over the place or straight past their pubs). There's 300+ pubs between it and the next town along, Hove (you can't join two towns together and call it a city). So just choose elsewhere and get a cab/uber.

Why oh, why does this have to be so bloody difficult. All I want to do is go out and have a couple of enjoyable beers. Laugh at the bottle jobs in their soulless stadium with their ridiculous view of football, make some noise, support the team and hopefully enjoy smashing them.

The way this gets policed inflames the problem rather than solves it because it creates this atmosphere and expectation that the norm is all out war on the streets when we play each other.

First Brighton v Palace game at the Amex I have missed , Not as upset as I thought I would be as it seems the best days are over for this historic fixture and any atmosphere and fun has been sanitised out of the Match .

Club should be encouraging supporters to use coaches rather than making it difficult with ridiculous timing.
95% of our fans have absolutely no interest in getting on an official coach to go to any match, Especially so a match 40 miles down the road. May suit some family's or the older crowd but i'm not surprised they are running so few coaches for this game.

I usually only get the coach when I have my little one with me and her mum would not allow her to go to the Amex, cant blame her for that I would not really want a child of mine to have see people clapping with little bits of paper and singing from a song sheet wearing white and blue jester hats. Anyway I go to this fixture just because it is so much easier and I have a 2 hour drive home from CPFC

Just avoid Wetherspoons and West Street and drink in one of probably 100 pubs in Brighton and Hove.

There are tonnes of good pubs in Brighton in the Laines, none of which will be occupied by Brighton fans. I expect the majority of them will work a normal day whereas many of our fans will be down from 2pm or so.

PM me if you want any good pub options, crap month of the year to visit Brighton but it’s still a good place to drink.

There's probably 20+ decent places to drink within a mile of the station, none of which you would run into any trouble with the police or Brighton. Unless you wanted that of course...

Seems the coaches are fully booked now anyway! What's the deal with the special train, do you have to buy a ticket in advance? Or do you just buy a return ticket on the outward journey then just dive onto the special? It sounds like the special train is one way only, from Falmer? And does anyone know what the parking situation is like in Three Bridges, were I need to get off, for my drive home.
Agree with many on here though, the police and the authorities have done their best to turn this game into an utter nightmare. Also, why just 2,000 tickets, crazyness.

Ok, fair enough, thanks.
I drove to the 3-1 and 2-0 play off win, lucky to miss the 0-3! Sounds like parking restrictions are even more severe since they added the extra capacity.

Has anybody used the Bridge Car Park for previous BHA matches? If so, is it painless enough to get back to - and out of - after the game?

If you have to stand for 2 hours then it shouldn't be an arse ache.
