Luka doesn't seem to be given any set pieces to take unless it's a chance to shoot. Let's give him a chance to take them. Cabaye had an excellent game on Saturday only spoiled by his set pieces

Shame we cant bring Puncheon on for free kicks / corners - always more accurate with a bit of pace .

Definitely need a rethink about this. I find it amusing that Yohan, Andros and Punch all signal before delivering the ball, as if they have a clue where its going to land !

It is pointless having our headers of the ball rehearse dead ball routines, until we can find someone who can consistently hit it in with accuracy and pace.

That's because Sigurdsson is one of the best dead ball specialists in the league. Looked lost outside of that though. Baines good alternative too.

I’ve defended Cabaye on here god knows how many times but his set pieces are extremely disappointing, from the fact he’s scored no free kicks despite bagging half a dozen or so at Newcastle, to some of those shocking corners.

Both him and Punch seem to like those floating deliveries, drives me nuts. Just whip the ball into the box, good things happen, it's criminal when a keeper can simply claim a free kick out of the air...which seems to happen with us all the time.

Sullay Kaikai is great at set-piece deliveries and today he scored a hat-trick for Palace Under 23's in their 4-0 thrashing of Colchester as he steps up his recovery from injury.

A fit Kaikai should definitely be in the First Team matchday squad.

Edited for accuracy. He was average pre-season and made no impression when he got a chance in the League Cup. In form he is decent as his debut away against Southampton showed.

IMHO Kaikai is not a player who will ever play in the Prem. Should be playing in League 1 or 2 and may eventually end up in The Championship at best.

Kaikai has been injured and has not been available as a result.

I have seen a lot him playing and he reminds me of Ian Wright in the way that he takes his goals.

Palace need goals and he has a good goal record and after doing well on loan now deserves a chance at Palace.

Our general dead ball play is poor, throws, corners, free kicks never look like we have a clue what we are trying to do.

As I was saying Kaikai deserves a chance

Sullay can strike a mean dead ball as well as his goalscorer's instinct at sniffing out goals.

To be fair we should have scored about 5 this season. Dann, Tomkins, Sakho, schlupp all missed good chances from corners

The Everton game they were poor thoughout. Prior to that I’d been thinking we’ve worked on them. Cabaye in particular was getting dangerous balls into the box and we missed benteke getting on them. Much better than he was last season

Brighton really struggled to deal with set-pieces and crosses against Stoke and so with the right service Benteke could cause them real problems next week.

At 6ft 3ins RLC should be a bigger aerial threat than he has shown so far.

At the end of the day Palace need to improve the quality of their crosses as with the right service it can be a source of goals with Benteke one of the best headers of the ball in the Premier League.
