It was a surprise to me that he got another premier league job after QPR, but leave him be, he's doing just grand according to many fans of many other teams at the bottom.

Cheque book manager.
There is five managers past/present of recent EPL history who you do let run riot because they end up signing shite.

Hughes, Pardew, Martinez, Bartinez & Clement.

He’s kept Stoke in the premier league. Same as Pulis.

I expect him to be gone soon, as I think Clement could go in a few weeks too. This season could have the most sacked managers ever in the premier league.

Would Stoke go back in for Pulis?

Who’s Bartinez ?

Hate Hughes with a passion. Strangely ever since about 1990

Their fans are certainly considering it. They think it could be Brendan Rodgers.

TBF, reading that is quite a tonic. Every week Savage belittles callers, who pay the licence fee and pay for season tickets at Stoke, for having the temerity to suggest Hughes is not what they need.

He makes me puke.

I heard that last night - the way they spoke to that Stoke woman was an absolute disgrace. Turned it over then.

Brendan Rodgers is way out of their league I would have thought. Would be surprised if he wanted to swap Celtic for Stoke.

If they want to play open expansive football FDB is the man....

I think Pulis will be at Swansea. They'll sell it as a Welsh thing.

Hughes and Clement will be sacked. Pellegrino if it goes tits up from here. Benitez may walk. Someone has to get Pulis. It's in the Premier League handbook

Having a bet on the next premier league manager to leave is very frustrating.. On the plus side the longer they keep Hughes the more chance of them going down.

It seems inevitable the sacking of Mark Hughes happening shortly as they are looking desperate and on a downward spiral, and possibly only a change in manager may help lift them. It's very strange to fathom out what has gone wrong as we all know they are a solid unit that is a mid table outfit no better no worse, but yesterday summed up their current plight by getting hammered at home to a team in the bottom 3, probably makes his sacking inevitable.
I can see a reunion with Pulis coming up shortly for sure.

Mark Hughes: 'I don't do relegation'. Correct. He'll soon be long gone.
