As Pub Idol says, the Bayern home kit was also worn in 96/97 - Hopkin wore the shirt when he was looking to curl one when we went up.

Whilst the main design of the 96/97 & 97/98 home kit was the same, the subtle difference was another red line added to the collar in the premier league.

Also, the 96/97 away kit, was the 97/98 premier league third kit - just never used

However, this will always be my favourite ever kit.

The 1996/1997 third kit - worn only three times, twice by palace and once by birmingham at selhurst due to a kit clash....and we lost that game too. 1-0 Martin Grainger

The 97/98 away kit was a shocker. Yellow shirt with a horizontal blue stripe blue shorts and yellow socks with some red thrown in here and there. People liked it though.

According to SP loads liked it hence when he made that first Avec bespoke kit the Yellow and Blue colours. For me both of those kits were a bit naff.

Loved the 1996/97 Away kit. It's also part of the reason why I am a Bayer Leverkusen fan.

Actually we used the same Home kit in 1999/00 and 2000/01 and our 2001/02 Away kit was used as the Third kit in 2002/03.
