Yep, he definitely hasn't been the same since.

How many managers have they had in the last few years? Must be as many as us!

The jury is out on if he is a good manager.

He reminds of Martinez a little, get a better job after getting relegated. Watford one of the more easy jobs in the epl to succeed in due to their model

Still a good manager. All depends on whether he learns from what happened here with Everton. I think he'll end up here before too long.

Wow, remember the Watford fans lauding it over us for Silva choosing them over us. How the tables have turned! Who will go there now?

When Roy walks after failing to be backed in the transfer market ?

But far more likely to appear at Southampton

Based on what he got out of Hull and previous to them. Even started well with Watford. Something has happened there.

I would have a bit of sympathy if it was not for the fact that club is just one big revolving door for players and managers. Also, Silva is massively overrated. Only in England do we think someone is really good because basically they won a few games with a poor side and slightly improved them

If he desperately wanted out they should have let him go and collected the compensation, now they are having to pay him off

Poor leadership in the boardroom imo

Nah. Couldn’t wait to get out of hull

Wanted to go to Everton ans that’s fair enough but now can’t keep it together enough to avoid losing the dressing room.

Sounds like hull ans Watford were only ever stepping stones and when he didn’t get his way he had a strop.

He’d be no different here and certainly not the long term guy we want

When the going gets tough, he doesn't know what to do - look at his none reaction when we beat Hull at the end of last season. Had quite a few injuries though haven't they? He should've just given Everton a big no from the beginning, seen this season through with Watford and then moved on, they would've probably sacked him anyway.

For me he doesn't seem to have a clue how to organise a defence - even when they were going well earlier in the season - I watched the get in front at Chelsea and have chances to finish them off, only to leave themselves wide open at the back and end up losing. They keep losing games from winning positions. You could also question his character too - couldn't wait to walk away from Hull to the first available club that wanted him. Has a good start there and then wants to jump ship again. Not for me

Sadly he has learnt the hard way in showing loyalty to Watford, he had the opportunity to have gone to Everton, West Ham and not forgetting Palace in the early days but chose to stay loyal, only to be dumpted SIX Months later.
Without knowing what went on behind the scenes as to why this happened, but surely this was pressing the panic button far too early which could result in a fall into the relegation mire for the club, a hell of a gamble to take.
With their track record for sacking managers which sucker is going to be the next fodder to be fed to the scrapheap.
