Zaha was not terrible tonight. He was average. But then he was heavily marked. West Ham defended really solidly.

He's in a little dip of form, but more like 3 games rather than 10. I've been saying it myself. It seems from the outside that it's a bit about headspace with Wilf. Hope it all turns around soon.

Wilf having games like this might keep him here if he played ever game at his best we would struggle to keep him every cloud

Had at times 3 players on him in a flash when he got the ball, once again let down by the ref by not giving obvious fouls against him, and more importantly bookings, but still looked dangerous when on the ball, so not sure what he is suppossed to do faced with all of this. Yes not firing on all cyclinders, but that does not mean he is playing badly.

Not been good the last few games and we do need him to get his mojo back but he has had dips in form before.

Unfortunately we have a lot of inconsistent players and while Wilf has improved with delivering more often, he still does have dips. That is why he still isn't at the level of players like Mahrez.

I have wondered for a few weeks now if he is injured but the more I see the more I think it's his head that has the problem. He just seems to have lost his way after a wonderful run of form. Part of it is that he seems determined to beat his man at walking pace and instead of stretching his legs and using his acceleration to take advantage of beating the first man. Really odd and I would guess it has something to do with his position.

First half it was hard to work out who was doing what because we were so bad but it looked as if Wilf was up front and Sako playing wide LM. This really didn't work and we missed Sako's bustle and penetration up front and Wilf couldn't get into it at all. It is the dilemma with 2 wingers and 442 and one struggling striker. With Andros hobbling maybe we don't have the conundrum now and instead have one less quality player.

We have to get a Wilf back on song.

The problem (if there is one) is that Wilf has the habit of always looking to dribble with the ball and rarely will he simply draw one or two players in and then release to a player in space. This means that players will not make the movement into space since they don't believe they will receive a pass. So once Wilf gets the ball it's like the world stops, waiting for something to happen. When teams sit back and defend deep, there is no space behind and it all gets a bit too tight for him.

He's falling over and moaning, but how is that any different to normal?

He's not been awful. He just hasn't been winning games for us recently.

Decent first half, poor second half but had 2 and sometimes 3 players around him.

Surprised no one is noting he is being asked to play a different, more disciplined role with Sakho in the team. The team was structured around him being given a free role before but now he can’t play that role as Sakho is playing future forward. In many ways he is taking one for the team.

West Ham set up to stop him, he had 3 men on him every time he got the ball. Its not easy for him if teams do that, we should have other ways of attacking but sadly we don't apart from long crosses to Benteke.
Wilf will always have an off day with 3 men on him, it make it very hard to play. If we had a variety of threats teams would find it harder to do it.

He is still our most talented player. It was obvious tonight that Moyes had set his team up to get 2 often 3 players on him as soon as he had the ball.

So why leave him out wide on the left for the whole game after Sako went off ?

Mahrez takes whole games off, and disappears for long periods in most games.

I keep waiting for Wilf to turn it on against ManU and/or Moyes, but he never does.

I didn't say we hadn't.

Just said that we need not worry about his form until it reaches 10 games in a row. We are not a one man team.
