It's the entitlement culture Gonzo.
We have people getting angry and indignant on behalf of RH, even though nobody has a clue what he is thinking, others going into depression because "we will now have to sell Wilf", and others demanding we buy aging Prem cast-offs, whilst whinging we don't have any money and criticising the board for the Mutch/Kebe tendency.
The three good, young players we have contracted, (and who nobody on here has seen play yet), are dismissed as U23 fodder.
For what it is worth, all three players seem to be good men with the right characters to succeed. They don't look like random acquisitions.

No need to wait until summer to quell your curiosity, I can tell you now.

Low ball bid on transfer deadline day with no time for them to sign a replacement.

You're welcome..

TBF, if you wish to limit the definition of a football CLUB as a business to reinforce a personal viewpoint, it could be argued that any fan who actually pays money towards the club is an effective shareholder kind enough to expect no monetary return.

Since that is a pretty altruistic action -hand money without expecting financial return to a business, as you call it -then basic information about the background to the running of said business isn't too much to ask. Not IMHO anyway.

I'm not saying we fans have a right to demand information but that the club should feel a moral duty of respect in that regard.

The one who I'm surprised didn't go anywhere was William Carvalho at Sporting.

Arguably too rich for us, but I think he'd be a beast over here

How he hasn't been snapped up by a real top club in Europe is beyond me.

He really is on another level, next to Luka with a real number 10 in front of them would be devastating.

Now that is a ridiculous and rather sill comment to make, dont you think? it is just you being arguementetive without any thought of what was said.
You do realise your comment suggests that NO Fan has the right to question decisions made by the board on discussion Boards like this, that does not make it a DEMAND as you suggested.
Do try thinking first the next time before blurting out nonsense.

Clubs know this, and play on the emotional commitment of their fans. In return they owe the fans some accountability.

As we all know, players, managers and owners come and go. True supporters are for life.
And if you don't get this, what's your sanction?

Seems it's limited to getting jolly cross, jolly frustrated and/or not turning up - or indeed cancelling your Sky subscription.

You may believe you have this entitlement. The reality is you don't. This is at the gift of the club.

Not sure I'm following your analogy as what you've articulated is a really description of simply buying something. It doesn't give you any information rights. You've paid your money and you've got a ticket to watch a game in return. Your exposure is limited the cost of your ticket and your sanction is limited to not turning up.

If the club wish to give out info that is at their gift and generally we've been pretty good, despite the dogs abuse some of the grown ups get, but unless what you've bought is the club itself it comes with no divine right to information.

The point is this who ARE shareholders are at risk of a financial loss. Given this their exposure they do have the right to know what is going on as worst-case, they have to bankroll the consequences of any **** ups.

Just watched a YouTube video (which I know can be deceiving) and his range of passing with both feet is ridiculous. I think he might struggle with the speed of the premier league though.

You said there were questions that should be answered. You said that the fans deserve an explanation.

You are wrong.

Of course we question the board we disagree with them. That is halve of GPD. They have no responsibility to give us answers though. They might choose to but they don't have to.
