I'm not saying this is reliable information at all, but heard rumour he has had a disagreement with Roy about not playing before today.
Roy has been brilliant in my opinion but have to say I don't understand how a player who has played for his country and we think is good enough to sign then doesn't get a chance to play his natural position when we have a shortage in that position and in doing so then allows Timothy Fosu Mensa to play right back today. Very strange I think.
On the plus side, good performances on the whole from Wan Bissaka and Fosu Mensa

People calling for this guy to play based on NOTHING.

He is clearly not ready to play in the Premier League. He hasn't even made the bench yet. A totally pointless signing when we needed real recruitment to improve our chances of staying up. Signing Jach has changed nothing, we are no better off.

The owner should explain why the January transfer window failed our manager so terribly.

He has played for his country twice but isn't considered their first choice (yet). From memory I don't think he was even first choice for their U23 side in a flat 4. He is a prospect.

I don't think Roy is stupid and by playing Wan Bissaka he has shown he is willing to use a young player if he has to. So you have to assume that his judgement (and I would guess that if the coaching staff) is that he isn't quite ready yet to debut against a team like Spurs, or maybe any Premier team (who knows). Between Roy, Ray and Richard Shaw etc. there is enough smarts about player ability to make the right call surely.

Could be good because I disagree with the below:

In an ideal world you bed players in. But I think a Polish international signed for a few million who is possibly going to be at the World Cup should be good enough to be back-up CB, otherwise we should not have signed him and should just have an academy lad there in the pecking order.

Roy basically thinks he is seventh choice behind: Sakho, Dann, Tomkins, Kelly, TFM and Delaney. And yet we spent what little money we had on him. Bizarre.

Hodgson must really have got it in for him. Makes no sense not to be on the bench

In dire need of a centre half, sign one in January and play Delaney ahead of him.

Absolute shambles by Parish and the club.

Maybe Roy is so annoyed and pissed off with the signing of Jach that he down right refuses to play him.
What Roy said we needed never arrived.....

It is odd on the face of it but maybe he’s got a knock or maybe Roy just doesn’t trust him
yet. Doesn’t mean he’s a bad player, just not ready yet.

A mid table championship defender would have done a job. Guess they are too expensive these days.

As for your other point in the first person to admit I'm wrong but my opinion on this is from the fact that we've lost managers because of our ridiculous transfer Windows and our 2 recent signings are nowhere to be seen during the worst injury crisis the club's ever seen.
You and Alan Lee11 are the same - nothing of value or truth to say about the club. You have no proof whatsoever that people walked because of transfer windows. Why don't you go and research the truth rather than making stuff up.

Hopefully this is ironic. If not, why would you blame Parish for signing a player that was approved by the manager? Is he supposed to be a scout and overrule the manager? How would that go down on the BBS?

One shouldn't assume Roy had him near the top of his list of players to sign. Probably 4th or 5th - mostly with a view to add him as a squad player next season.

And quite honestly I'm not surprised he refers to a certain person as "Doug". Remember that Roy worked with real Directors of Football in European countries. Our set up remains strictly amateurish with far too much input from the Board.

Problem is he only comes out and talks when we win few games and everything looks rosey and he can make himself sound like the reason for the wins. Otherwise he goes into hiding

If he isn't good enough perhaps we should of taken a chance on Steven Caulker, class act at Dundee now apparently and Celtic were interested too.

I think this is it. Perhaps Roy didn't want him but Freedman did. If Roy really wanted him he would have been on the bench today at least. To not get in over Delaney (who I love but is past it) is very odd.
