Should add the word 'again' to the title.

One of the reasons we have so many injuries is that we have quite a collection of fragile, sick note players. Kelly, Dann, Sakho, Tomkins, Cabaye, McArthur, Loftus-Cheek, Wickham and Sako all seem to get injured regularly. It seems that only two of those are currently fit, which is no surprise really, so it doesn't take too many others to get injured to give us a problem. And to think some were jealous when West Brom signed Sturridge!

Our summer transfer policy should be to sign players with a good track record of getting through seasons injury free. Let's stay clear of the bargain signings who "would be fantastic signings if they can stay fit". Remy last season for example.

Since joining Palace his season appearances have been 33(1), 32(7) and so far 23(2) this season.

Whilst I can understand some frustration that he doesnít always last 90 minutes, itís not true to suggest that heís a part-timer and injured Ďagainí.

Itís inevitable that a player in his role will pick up injuries and so I would have thought that 30+ appearances per season for a midfielder is above average in the Prem.

Bearing in mind that this season only 4 players have played more minutes than Cabaye and 2 of those have played less than 45 mins more than him we must have a part time team then and what about the rest!

But don't let facts get in the way of a good moan.

Townsend - 2158
Luka - 2090
Zaha - 1786
Benteke - 1749
Cabaye - 1743

I would think the source is likely to be the list Roy had in his pocket at the press conference. The 12 names are listed on Sky and Cabaye was the 12th one everyone was trying to guess.

Cabaye generally has a good-ish injury record for us. He doesn't complete as many games as he should but he's not been a major problem injury wise. Getting a groin injury during a two week break is so typical palace though. You begin to wonder if this season is cursed.
