Rather than like the old enclosure, flip it like the away end at Ninian Park perhaps? Standing at the back, seats at the front.

Which is what should have happened in the LH.The current situation suits nobody with fans standing in front of fans who would prefer to sit. A safe standing area big enough should be put in . Then a no tolerance to persistent standing policy could be put in place for the other 80% of the ground.

Lower Holmesdale would be the ideal. I'd relocate in an instant from the Arthur.

Problem with that is the rear of the Arthur have a restricted view as it is, if they stand it'll be no view at all.

I'll clarify my earlier post, I want the whole Lower Holmesdale to be safe standing.

In the long run the whole Lower Holmesdale, corner between that and the Arthur and the old AW Paddock

I would just want to make sure that the demand was there. Start in the middle and work out wards

That's coming with the new main stand development. I'd also put another big screen on it as well so that those in the WHL and corners of the new Main Stand would have something to look at.

Safe standing in the Lower Holmesdale round to Block W in the AW with a giant screen on top of the new corner infill between the two.

Everyone in Block A and B stands up. I had a season ticket towards the back of Block A for a long time and we always stood up for the game. The Away fans all stand up in the AW as well. It happens in other grounds as well and no one can deny it.

I totally understand the FA and the powers that be stance on Standing in football grounds but times have changed, the capacity is the capacity it is all controlled nowadays so give people the choice of whether they want to stand or sit. All the powers that be wanna do is spend money on trials and research. What a load of crap.

I'd say all the rows above the EAGLES! rows would make most sense, approx 1,500 seats replaced I reckon.

It ain't gonna happen next season and it has to be like Celtic i.e. somewhere that does not affect the sightlines of fans who wish to sit either side,

We might have to wait some time for the FA to give the go-ahead for safe standing. Trials and reports have to take place.
Thing is, all this 'standing is dangerous' was generated by the initial police reports into Hillsborough, which was found out recently to be a load of lies, orchestrated by David Duckenfield.
Therefore, in reality, no trials are required. Just police to let the right number of fans into the right areas of the ground.
OK, standing was always a bit of a mosh pit when goals went in, but you knew what you were getting
The demand for rail seating/safe standing is obviously there, it's just getting the FA to agree and give the go-ahead.

They also need to get Government to change their minds. Ministers and DCMS officials still stuck in the past and not willing to change policy, and despite it being constantly "under review" nothing changes. Total nonsense when it's been successfully trialled in Scotland.

The club should survey fans to see how popular it would be and plan it accordingly

If the FA were actually serious about no standing they would start asking for ends to be closed where persistent standing was occurring but they are t and just want to be seen to obey rules. The status quo is actually dangerous ,take the away end at Newcastle which is actually an accident waiting to happen.
Safe standing will come ,it just takes a club with balls to push for it.
