Burnley home - 79
Blackburn Play off final (2nd leg) - 89
Shef Utd play off final - 97
Cup final replay - 1990 (I know some people will find this one strange, but getting to see Palace in an FA cup final was amazing despite the poor game and result)
Stockport away - 01

1. Villa Park 4-3. Doubt the euphoria of that day will ever be beaten in my lifetime.

2. Blackburn 2-1. Coppell's Jacket - the most emotional I have ever been at a Palace game.

3. Sheff Utd 1-0. "Hopkin, looking to curl one". Was doubly joyful after the disappointment of the previous year. My favourite play-off final ever - the crowd were immense. Don't know why but I never got very excited at all about the West Ham final.

4. Ipswich 4-1. The most complete Palace performance I have ever seen and for a short while afterwards the only time we have ever been talked about as genuine contenders.

5. Man Utd 5-0. Enough said.

Loads of other contenders - Burnley, Blackburn 3-0 in the second leg, Leeds, Chelsea and Sunderland from the glorious cup run in the 70's, the win at Arsenal with Johnny Salad, etc.

Top of the list for passion on the night must go to (1) Selhurst Park 79' v Burnley, (2) away at Wrexham to gain unexpected promotion, (3) FA cup semi final Villa Park against Liverpool, phew what emotion (4) the whole FA cup run of 76' this could easily be top, when you consider we were a Div3 team and beat some of the best at the time, (5) this is a tricky one as there are many that could be included, but for the sheer joy of getting to Wembly for the first time, Johnson Paint Trophy, how's that to bring a smile to our faces. Oh what fantastic memories to recall for the true fans.

It is really hard to choose. I've left out the Sheffield Utd, Sheffield Wed and West Ham at Cardiff games for a start. Sunderland at home is another. This is a great thread, it reminds me how lucky we have been to have had seen so many fantastic matches.

I'll give a shout to the 4-2 win away at Wrexham which took us up from the old 3rd Division.
