It would be good for him and the club, Palace need a PROVEN GOALSCORER in the team and he loves Palace and is just getting back to fitness it would be perfect

Didn't you know Trilbey,we are going to sign or loan Jansen,Martyn,Southgate and Ian Wright is coming out of retirement to play for us again.Also Pardew is going to take over from Francis.Its true I tell you,my mate in the pub told me after his 10th pint.

I don't think is as outrageous an idea as some suggest.

Once Hakan Sukur is fit, Jansen will find himself at best fourth in the pecking order behing the Turk, Yorke, and Cole, and Ostenstad has also featured a lot despite Matty's return to fitness.

A short term loan deal would proably suit both us and Blackburn - the only question is to whether we need another striker and whether we could afford his wages.

Two probable 'no's, but seeing as Jansen can't be farmed out to another Prem club this season, it wouldn't surprise me to see him loaned out to a First Division club to aid his comeback from that horrific injury.

Just pray it's not f*cking Sheffield United....

Graham Souness has been quoted as saying that Jansen will not be fit and back to normal until next season. So, we borrow a half fit player who is short on match fitness, sharpen him up, get him firing again, so that he can return to Blackburn when he is up to it.

If we have to play somebody working his way back to fitness, at least let's play somebody who will still be a Palace player when he is fit.

Just been said on SS that Jansen may well go on loan to the Nationwide to help him gain his fitness back.... So for all those saying earlier on in this thread it WILL never happen - just wait and see. If it ain't us it will be someone else..
