CM: Omen's Skin!
I've decided to have a go at developing my own skin for CM4.

It's a bit difficult due to having no details on what all the variables in the XML mean, but slowly, by trial and error, I'm working it out.

So far I've only moved the news ticker to the top, but I feel it's a nice change! I'll keep releasing pictures as I go on - any ideas about what to change are more than welcome.

Good start, Omen. Keep it up as I couldn't bear CM with a generic ManUre/Liverpuke/Arse skin.

any chance of making the "Positions" buttons more distinct? it's hard to tell which ones are pressed and which aren't on the "ter" skin

I'll see what I can do. It will be so much easier when they release some documentation. At the moment all changes are so time consuming.

I've started redesigning the graphics last night. Everything is in such small pixels though that it doesn't actually allow for much variation - the buttons are always going to look pretty similar, just different colours.

I've pretty much managed to move the menu bar to the top of the screen as well, but I decided that it was harder to use there. I think it is best left to the left hand side. I may move the training bars etc, from the bottom to the top though. I don't like having to keep moving my mouse to the bottom of the screen to select options.

If possible, I'll try and move the forward and back buttons to the very bottom. Not 100% sure it allows me to do that though.

If you could relocate the 'Back' Button to its spiritual home at the bottom of the screen, I suspect that you would please quite a few people.....

I'll continue with my skin now the full game is out. I stopped because there wasn't enough info released to do everything and I was spending hours trying to work it all out.

I also didn't want to make a skin that wasn't compatiable with the full version - SI Games assurance of 'it should be' wasnt good enough for me!
