FIFA 2004 Review
Wondered into GAME on oxford street at 8.30 and there it was, 1 day before release. i bought it for the gamcube, and have to say, it is impressive. not as arcady as old FIFAs, responsive, need to have neat passing. corners are cool, as is off the ball play. i am playing the kember formation with palace, and it is ok, popa is a star, and wayne is ok. no watson or williams though! but they have surey and heero. who does their research? most of our players have got wrong positions.

I've pre-ordered it for the PC so at least I can change positions and players etc...

What kit do palace have in the game? noticed on a screen shot that we have the sash away kit so it would be a bit strange if we had the current home kit.

The gameplay is quite good. its alot different from fifa 2003 the crosses are good and the offball system is good but it needs practice.

I noticed in the shop that this game has Internet play for the PS2. Please could someone explain what this is about, how you do it, what you need and possibly how ridiculously expensive it all is.

Oh, and in lay-mans terms plse!(sp)

I think it's free.

You need a network adaptor (about 50 quid from most computer games stores)

You also need broadband internet.

It means you can play others over the net. I'm going to wait for PES4 before I invest...can't stand FIFA games

The online adator plugs in the back of the PS2 and is £40.As RDS says you need to be on broadband, then you can play either 1v1 or 2v2.
