Would Wise want Palace?

Dennis wise has indicated that he is willing to join a team in the first division, however he didnt wan to go to Bolton because they are not in London. So a first division team in London, if you neglect Fulham, then the best team is Palace, could we be in for a big name signing?

Would we really need another player who spends more time suspended than not?

Anyway: From Soccernet:

Wise set to stay at Stamford Bridge

Exclusive: Chelsea believe they have persuaded Dennis Wise to perform a dramatic about-turn and pledge his future to Stamford Bridge.

Blackburn Rovers, who almost signed the 34-year-old England international in the summer, were sure they would finally get their man this week. But it now appears that Wise is ready to abandon his transfer request.

Please tell me you're joking. Wise at Palace - I hope that NEVER happens. He is one 'cheeky-chappie' that we don't need. Too similar in temperament to Ruddock. How many players do we want playing for Palace? I prefer 11 pulling in the same direction, than 9 playing for us, and 2 others playing to boost their own profiles. It would be a very un-wise move.

yourname is playing for a contract

Wise would be an Excellant signing being an england international i dont see how you could question his worth to us excellant passer/ball winner and great at set pieces

however i hear west ham, man city, and blackburn are all intrested in signing him i think he would choose a prem club over us sense hes not got to many playing years left but it also seems after crisis talks he might be staying on at chelsea

I can't stand that dirty ___ Dennis Wise, he's broken more legs than MFI. That thug makes Ruddock look like the sugar plum fairy in comparison.

Agree with Ian, a) because he's an old friend of mine( thanks for the email)!! b) because he's a short ____ !!
However he does pass the ball well and he did belt a taxi driver.
Anyway I thought he was going to become a tellytubbie!!

The title of this thread is insulting. It should be : (Why ?) would PALACE want Wise.

I'd rather have Eric Morecambe in midfield, than the patron saint of black-cab drivers!
