Palace v Forest tickets

I was hoping to go to this game, but i have be informed by one fo my friends who supports forest that i may not be able to buy tickets on the day. Anyone know if this is true.

Also can i order tickets over the phone from the CPFC ticket office, how efficient are they, if I order tomorrow will they arrive by Saturday morning?

Any help appricated.

Forest tickets all look the same no matter what type you buy so if there are a few of you going, get on person to go up and buy say 2 adults and 2 children - then give them to your friends and the guys at the turnstiles won't know.

Is that true. Most clubs tear stubs off for concessions, so that you can tell by the width of the ticket whether it's a concession or full-price.

You're right, the kids tickets for Forest have the stubs removed too.

Surely Forest are not ripping off away fans???!!!

Have found quite a few grounds charge away fans more - it's not uncommon.

We do the same - 20 for the Arthur, only 19 in the Holmesdale.

I reckon any adult could get in using a concession ticket. If they notice at the turnstyles (which is unlikely) you could just say that you must have got the tickets mixed up and your son/daughter has already gone in with your ticket.

I went to Wolves Vs Watford last year with a Watford supporting mate and they use a system where a steward gives out slips to those wanting concession tickets. Anyway, this steward asked us and being honest we said we were over 18, then he virtually insisted that we took concession slips anyway Must have been an undercover WBA fan having cost the club he works for over 10!

I know this was common practice in the good old days. However I recall our old friend David Mellor making a huge song and dance about this a few years back and promising that this price differentiation would be one of the first stains on the game his 'Taskforce' would eliminate.

I naively assumed that such practices were now outlawed.
