So it is worth ringing the club shop still for SINGLE tickets. I wish some on here would pay attention.

I will say again.

TRY THE PALACE FIRST IF YOU JUST WANT A SINGLE TICKET AND ARE NOT FUSSY WHERE YOU SIT.

I expect there is the odd single in the Directors etc..

I regret to say I feel little sympathy for people who haven't thought there might be a slight difficulty of getting tickets for this. I had my mate get mine when I was still in Chile.

Its not as though the game and the ticket situation have not been widely discussed on here. The Liverpool/Leeds situations recently should have been a pointer. Still the Club cannot make allowances for the slow on the uptake.

Not everyone is young free and single (whilst over here) Peter. Most games you can get tickets in the week leading up ot the match, this is the first time for ages that hasn't beeen the case. As it happens, through contacts I've managed to get four today, but at £25 a throw it's not something I could do every game.

I fear it you who have been slow on the uptake, Peter was it not you arguing that those of us 'on here' were a mere fraction of the support... can't have it both ways.

A couple of other points, the Liverpool and Leeds games were Cup games - not really the same scenario - and even they did not sell out 10 days before. As Al said, no League fixture (nope, not even Brighton) has managed that. Its also not helped by the fact that the club have cried wolf with these 'tickets going fast' stories before.

Therefore I too have sympathy with those who simply couldn't afford to buy them earlier, but at least there is a solution in this case... simply buy 'em in the away end - West Ham appear to have loads left!

Yes Neil. But to be pedantic, people have whined that they cannot get two tickets together for this game because its sold out.

But what I am saying is if there are single tickets available, sit on your own for two lots of 45 mins or try getting two in the same row and asking people to budge up. Cripes I have sat on my own plenty of times (no mates) as I will at Cardiff. You can meet you mates, family (kiddies excepted - sorry) before, at half time and at the end, whats the issue).

Not that tricky, even for the most media sterotypicalised football fans to work out.

I have little sympathy for people who expect to ring up a week before a BH London Derby when both teams are trying for the play offs and are surprised their aren't six seats together.

Actually Peter, check the other thread. No-one is 'whining' as you put it or wanted six seats together. The person concerned does have two young children so sitting on thier own wasn't really an option. Also the club are now saying they have no tickets avaiable, although I guess there will be the odd return given the Teamcard points scheme they have put in place.

The bloke who started the thread is a mate of mine and he's as loyal as they come, barely missing a game for ten years but these days has a young family and simply can't afford more than the odd game, especially when the costs for taking people are much more than simply the ticket.
