Heard ID on Palace Radio at news conference after game reply when questioned about Hudson that a deal had been struck BUT "the powers that be had stuck in a clause that was unacceptable to BOTH sides".

Anyone know what this clause was and how can it be unacceptable to both sides? i.e who put the clause in?

I hate Jordan.... Surely he can see what the Lad offers us as a football club.. in 2yrs time that lad will be worth 5million... it is now no wonder Bruce joined Birmingham..and I'm afraid to say it but Dowie will walk if not backed and I wouldn't blame him one bloody bit... arsehole!

Must surely have been Fulham - what clause could we put in that would be unacceptable to them? We could only remove clauses, not add them.

Dowie said that it was a clause that was pretty unheard of - maybe an optional return to Fulham written in or something ridiculous like that?? Or a cut-price first refusal. Anyway, very frustrating to lose out over something so petulant!!

Excuse me! Whjy on earth you having a pop at Jordan when it was nothing to do with him? A deal was agreed but it was Fulham who stopped the deal, not Palace or Jordan.

that's a tad harsh, considering he's the chairman who's bringing us the glory days back!

he's a business man at the end of the day, I'm sure he knows a lot more about running a footy club than you!

there are some people that just want to find an excuse to have a pop even when everything is going well It sounded like Dowie wasn't happy - so maybe Jordan is in fact backing him. Did you hear the press conference?

Anyway - the thing about not playing for the rest of this season could be right - but that was partly why we wanted him so it if that's the case it seems it's not gonna happen. Still we kept a clean sheet without him today which was good!!!

I tell you what.. I will have a bet with every one of you... Dowie will Walk within a year... Jordan will not take this club forward and its time for him to stump up or pi55 off.... and as for bringing the glory days back.. err... wasn't he responsible for rubins (waste) akinbiyi (waste) Symons, kolinko, who was the last player Jordan stumped up proper money for? infact what has he done other than build a bloody wimpy and back francis to the hilt... bloody Francis of all managers... glory days my arse... and if anyone has brought the glory days back it is DOwie/Harbin ok, I agree Jordan did employ Dowie.. but not after removing a piece of folklore hisory in the shape of steve Kember... and another thing... If he wanted to "Bring the Glory Days Back" why the hell did he hire Alan Smith as his first Manager... sacked him coz he didn't perform..i.e. bit of a dictator/then hire Brucey... who walked... then opted for another dictator in the shape of Francis.. then he was sacked.... behave the lot of ya... the Man is nothing but a waster with no idea about football... 1 message.. back Dowie or you will regret it...
