Just been reading the team from the reserve game at Selhurst this evening and it seems we have Deon Burton on trail.

Has he been released from Portsmouth then, does anyone know?

I take it CPFC Ben's insightful post (spot on mate) is intended to advise the rest of us that Deon Burton is somewhat of a has-been.

I'd prefer to think of him of a "never-was-in-the-first-place" myself

No harm in a trial - although I do think that he wouldn't be the type of player we would want in the Premiership.

Nonetheless we don't lose anything by running the rule over him.
