bad v no signings
I'd prefer no signings to bad signings though I do believe Mr Dowie needs a more versatile squad. I also think he knows the market place better than we on the great ship BBS! so I am sure he will do the best he can to get good necessary signings.
The more I look at the Premiership the more indefferent some of the oposition outside the top 8 look, and indeed how firm that top echelon appears. Good luck Mr Dowie et al

I agree. This isn't monopoly money and for every Lombardo there are 3 or 4 Brolins and Padavanos. Finding players who have at least a chance of making the grade but who won't put the clubs future finances at risk is a tough job. If Dowie is taking his time to try to get it right rather than rushing in then I'm happy to stay patient.

I also agree. Some of the names we have been "linked to" are truly frightening. The Akinbiyi affair will have been money well spent if it has taught SJ/ID to avoid the Prem old laigs union.
