Bluetooth
Does anyone know whether or not you can download the bluetooth software to your computer and then transfer photos across from ure phone to the computer without having to buy one of those expensive cables?????
Any suggestions!

You will need a bluetooth USB receiver for your PC.

Mobile to PC data cables are much cheaper than Bluetooth.

What phone you got ? You may have infa red on it to transfer pics over.

I got a V600 as far as i know it doesnt have infra red.
Where can i get either a blue tooth receiver or data cable? at the cheapest prices??

I got the "MSI BToes 200M Bluetooth™ USB Dongle" for under £25 (including vat and p&p etc.) from here: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Bluetooth.html

Or you can google it (e.g. http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...2Bsite%3A%2Euk)

There are loads for around £15 to £60 - you can buy in the highstreet from Maplins etc. but they are a lot more expensive than you can get mail order.

I GOT BLUETOOTH!!!!!

Thought I'd find an existing thread rather than start my own because I just wanted to proclaim the genius of Bluetooth. The BBS obviously aren't into it yet as there were only TWO existing threads!?

I'm not into all the hands free chatting stuff, but downloading pictures from my new mobile to a PC.

Sony Ericsson T630 to PC running Windows XP connected with the MSI BToes USB Bluetooth adaptor, which cost a mere £16 on Tottenham Court Road, under half what the data cable cost for my previous phone.

Sorted the software and hardware drivers and copying files from the phone is as easy as copying files between folders on your computer.

OK I'm done

Yeah it's good isn't it? Download all those midi's and stuff for free, backup the phonebook, transfer pictures, etc. etc. etc.
