Well, if you live in ever so posh Copers Cope Road, I'll be parking at the end of your drive. If you get the bonoculars out you might just make me out from your window.

Reading friendly at Training Ground

I know that things may change, but at present the friendly at the training ground on July 25th against Reading (managed by Super Alan Pardew) is on still.

My contacts at the Fitness Exchange (Copers Cope Road, Beckenham - formerly known as The Natwest Bank Sports Ground) have told me that the groundsman has been instructed to prepare a pitch for this date. Kick off time is still to be confirmed. Although it is supposed to be a 'behind closed doors' game, there is no way that they can stop members of the public from watching. I'll confirm the kick off time as soon as I know it.

The ground staff have been given smart new Palace tracksuits pending Palace's proposed move to this new training site.

Shouldn't be a problem, you can look over the wall, or even through it, in a couple of places!
Anyone wants to pop in for a cuppa, I'll let my wife know. And no parking outside my house!

Parking is no problem. You can park in the road or in the car park at the Sports Ground itself. Being a member myself, I shall use the gym in the morning and thus ensure that I am in the changing rooms at same time as the players! I'll take my boots along in case all the out of contract players leave and the half of the rest of the squad cannot get out of school for the afternoon.

Isleworth Eagle is playing for a contract
Providing I've cleared my diary it sounds good to be at the match.
It will be good to discover who the fans of Palace are who are able to be there...
instead of alias's the real people!
As an aside I used to play hockey at our new training ground...so there is no need for the long ball game...play to feet palace...!

How do you put faces on these messages?

so much for the suggestion that it was a 'behind closed doors game!!' - maybe they might consider making it a later kick off in that case... cos then I could go. Otherwise looks unlikely due to work commitments

Thank you lightweight I think you are on a similar wavelength!

I think it's fair to say Isleworth that Lightweight is unique in that she is on a frequency ALL of her own making !

As for smilies - well simply click on the view smilies box at the top of the page to view the codes for each one.

For example - the one I just used is entered by typing a semi-colon followed by a small e.

Anyone bored yet !!!

The smiley, sad even blinking faces as opposed to photos!
So can anyone explain how one adds these to messages...and if you'd like to send it to my personal messages it would not bore anyone else...unless they are as interested to learn!
